DO THINGS YOUR WAY
The International Quarter (TIQ), Stratford City offers the freedom to evolve a workplace solution that can represent your business values, as well as achieve the optimal working environment.
"The scale and flexibility of the floor plates at TIQ will be far more efficient than historic urban options. TIQ offers new ways of working that embrace information age mobility and virtual working capabilities - good news for the many organisations who wish to transform their business" – Earle Arney, Global Director of Workplace, Woods Bagot.
A design panel has been appointed for the commercial workplace element of the TIQ Stratford City project. They are part of a team put together to deliver the scheme in the years ahead. With up to 4 million sq ft to deliver, the panel approach means the development team can match architects and workplace designers to occupier needs.
Earlier this year we opened chapter one of the design process for TIQ. We seized the opportunity to take an innovative approach to workplace design. We hosted a design charette with members of the design panel, consultants and suppliers – 70 people in total, over 6 days, in one open plan space - to explore our design aspirations in a creative environment and develop a design road map for TIQ.
Above all the outcome is about delivering the best places for the people who are going to use them. The design charette is one interesting approach to achieving this. It gives us a great platform to engage with our workplace occupiers, as we can share with them our thought process and how we came to the decisions we made. It also gives us the ability to engage with them and their teams to learn what they want from their working environments.
